double valve replacment (dvr)

DVR stands for double valve replacement. DVR commonly involves replacement of the two valves that is both Mitral valve and Aortic valve. When both the valves are severely diseased , both need to be replaced in a single operation. DVR is also indicated when one valve is severely diseased and other valve is moderately diseased.
